If you are unfamiliar with Friedman: 70’s-80’s (radical) modernist graphic designer. Studied with Weingart. Was once married to April Greiman. Designed the Citicorp logo. Joined, then left Pentagram. Friends with Keith Harring. Taught at Yale and the Cooper Union. Made insane objects. Came out. Lived large. Perpetually re-imagined himself and the interior of his NYC apartment…
I would have loved to have met him.
